In the Fall of 2014 we began to utilize Instagram as well as Facebook as a natural expansion of BJJ New Gear. In order to do this properly we brought on board a gentleman who is experienced at Instagram and enjoys collaborating with me in an effort to grow BJJ New Gear into this new medium for us.
Currently we have Instagram accounts for both BJJ New Gear and BJJ New Gear CONTESTS. The plan in 2015 is to expand and add additional accounts as BJJ New Gear expands into other areas of the BJJ business.
How we use it is simple, the goal is that everything posted on Facebook is also put on Instagram, and vice-versa. Sure it is almost double the effort, but there are many Facebook members who do not have Instagram, and yet there are many Instagram followers who do not use Facebook. So to cover all of the bases for our Brand Owner Members, we now use both.
Additionally, we plan on adding Twitter as well. But that'll be once we find the right person to help out and take on that challenge.
